sup g!!?? 

This is new zealand slang and means, hello, how are you, whats up, my friend?! 

My first month in new zealand is over now. Sorry that i didn't update my blog last weekend but the wireless isnt that good haha! This month i did so many things, found many friends and im happy. I need to introduce you to all my friends and show you pictures soon so you know who im talking about haha! I hope you are well in germany in a place somewhere, 3 days of traveling away. 

I recond that my dreams have no language. I dont dream in german neither in english. I think my brain is confused. Im texting to my german friends in german of course and speaking english all day long. Its wired. Im already into the language. Its hard to talk or write german. My grammar is really bad in german. For example i sy My name are Paula and not is. (in german of course) 

Today we were writing an maths internal. Its a very important test for the new zelanders. It was over two periods and it was damn easy haha! They all be like: I cant do that. and yeah. so easy. Schools easy in general! I dont really get homework. Sometimes i do and it says: Draw a circle and color it blue. Its kinda funny. Haha 

Last week we had friends from hong kong who stayed with us for 5 nights. It was really funny. After school i sometimes stay longer in town. Im walking around with my friends. Sometimes Shayla and Olivia. Or ruby and Rachel and Jacki. sometimes I'm with Steph and Eden or with Kane. Its always a nice time and Ian always picks me up around 6. I dont miss anything! On Saturday our school performed Bugsy Malone. It was soooo good!! They were dancing and singing, even the boys! SO GOOOOD! AWESOME! I love new zealand and i love my school!!! 

Afterwards we had the after cast party. We were drinking ginger bear. Dont worry its not bear. Its without alcohol and sooo tasty !!! Unbelievable!!

It was at my friends place. Annie and her brother were in the performance and they ordered about 15 pizzas for everybody haaha! so much food. we baked a cake! so yummy and we had so much chips and lollies and stuff!! In the end 15 people were lying in the living room, fulll. haha ! Watched a movie and went to bed. In the morning we had pancake fights because everybody was hungry again. So much fun!! I enjoyed it! 

Yesterday Lily, Ian and me went to Swan Lake in Parmerston! Such a beautiful ballet! We were so tired afterwards and ian let lily and me sleep longer the next day haha!

Soccer game las Tuesday. Wairarapa College won! We didnt have to go to SSR though haha!

 Rugby game last Tuesday. Really interesting. They did kind of a dance before they started the game. Wairarapa college (we) won!!!

3rd Week

Hello everybody.

Today is Saturday. Tomorrow is Monday. School again. Im happy to go to school, i am meeting my friends there and classes are really easy. Im thinking of droping drama and taking outdoor education instead. Not sure yet :) 

My last week was awesome. Many interesting things happened. 

I HAD MY FIRST EARTHQUAKE 

When the earthquake happened i was in science class and i was really excited. The boys kept doing there work and all the girls screamed and jumped under the tables. Me too but i didnt scream haha!

I saw the curtains moving, it was pretty cool.

It also was Ians Birthday. We celebrated it on Thursday. Lily and me backed a Microwave Brownie, it was soooo yummy!! Omg really! And we made pizza for all of us. Also very tasty! 

School is ok. I had to write a formal text on thursday for english. We had to pick a topic for example: Legalize cannabis and then we had to find 3 or more arguments to support our point of view, wether we want cannabis to be legalized or not. 

It actually was the first time i used my desk in my room :)

Pupils here dont really get much homework. If they have, they finish it in school or at the bus the next morning. Its really cool. At Tuesday and Friday i stayed longer after school, because i wanted to go to town with friends. We went shopping but didnt really buy anything. It was fun though. 

My art teacher mr Kocx is really...lets say he is not nice. I dont like him. He said to me: Paula i dont know how you do education in germany but you are not in germany anymore. You are in new zealand, and thats why you have to be open for everything and you need to try it the new zealand way. and in new zealand you do what the teacher says you must do. 

Wow 

On Saturday I stayed over night at Shayla's. Her dad was picking me up in Carterton at 5:30pm and we drove somewhere. I have absolutley no idea. Shayla doesnt have neighbours. Her dad has 2000 sheeps and 6 dogs. It was really cool, but also lonely and quiet. We got dressed up and at 7pm her dad drove us to Sams birthday celebration. Sams really nice and friendly. She was my buddy when i had my first days at waicol. She also is in my english class. The night was cool. Her little brother alsways came and wanted to participate and then she called her mom to take him out again haha. It remembered me in Oskar :D 

Today is Sunday and tomorrow is school again. I have no homework, like always. Lily and me will propably watch a movie soon, because its raining..  

2nd week

I decided to not do one post every day. its too much work and the wireless is not that fast. its difficult to upload photos and stuff. so heres my week:

School is always funny. I have the wireless school password now, so its more funny because here in new zealand snap chat (its an app for my mobile) is very popular here. We snapchat all the time and its so funny. Interval and Lunch are really cool cause me and my friends have our places to go. Sometimes we sit "around the corner" in the science room, or at the spot. The spot is a gras spot in the village.
It always fun to go to school and even when its hard to get up in the morning i always enjoy every day.

I painted shaylas ear on Monday. She considered having a tattoo on her ear like this, so i painted her one that she can see how it would look like :) she dont want to do it anymore hahaha

In art Ellen and me have to do something now. Mr Kokx gave us work to do. So drew a face of a woman. Its okay i think, but the rest of the class is sooo good in drawing you feel like a little piece of s*** :))

Lily and me also went riding this week, for the first time. And it wasnt really riding. I rode for 3minutes and it was so bad, because the horse i rode normally rides western style and im riding english style.

I have a friend called Ruby, she is from new zealand and i have a friend from Germany called Louisa. The funny thing is, they look alike. Its so funny, i saw ruby and thought: thats louisa, whats she doing here???! Anyways I showed her and my other friends a photo of louisa and we all think they are silent siblings :)


On the weekend there were friends from madeleine from hong kong coming to our place for two nights. Father mother son and a little daughter. So sweet, Olive and sam are the kids. They are so lovely!
We went to a kiwi-house.  The kiwi is the national new zealand bird. You can only see it in new zealand so it was really interesting to go there. I saw a white one and a brown one. We also feed the birds and one bird bit me in the finger. It actually really hurts :s
On sunday madeleine had her birthday. so we celebrated. There was cake and cupcakes and many presents. At night we played a drama game, called freeze tag. One person has to go out of the room. the others have to make up a story. For example: Everybody is drunk and one is not and he tries to help the drunk people. Than theres one person who can say freeze! when a story is getting interested or boring. After he said freeze the person who went out at the beginning has to come in and can chose one person he or she wants to replace. The person who gets replaced has to go outside then and so on. It was so funny :)!!

!!! WEEKEND !!!

Finally its weekend, Saturday. I had to get up on 6am because Shayla and me met at 7:30am at the train station. Our train left on 7:50am. Way too early for a weekend! But it is the only train to go to Wellington on saturdays, so there was no other choice.
Olivia joined us at Carterton station. One and a half hour later we were finally in Wellington! We walked on the waterfront and I made plenty of photos. Shayla became hungry so we went to the food corner at the cinema. We ate and drank on this day: 3 scoops of ice cream, Cheeseburger, Sushi, Kebap, Ice tea citrus, Coca Cola, Ice tea Peacha and Smoothie Cews.. And that was only for me :D The ice cream was so good. All together we bought 10 scoops. The red: Wild Berry mix ice cream was the best, it made our tongs go darf red :D
We met Daniele on the food corner. We four went to the shopping mall. It was so funny. We tried on Ball dresses and funny sunglasses. We have been in a funny store. You could buy so many things you don't really need. Haha but it was funny. Olivia bought new tights and I bought nail polish in coral. I also bought a bracelet for Lily. I still feel bad that she wasn't with us. And the best thing I bought.... Damdamdam Body Shop, Body Milk that smells like grapefruit. OMG I love it!
We went to the underground market at the waterfront! It was so wonderful. They sold little watches as a neckless. Beautiful :D But so expensive :(
We also did a little bit sightseeing. Shayla showed me the most creepy elevators i have ever seen :D Starwars elevators.

Later this day I met Salome :) I was so happy to talk a bit German again. I was so happy to see her again. She walked around with me and my Kiwi friends and then we splitted again because Flora, her hostsister wanted to meet her friends.  So Shayla, Olivia, Daniele and me went to the big museum. Hahaha it was so fun! There was a big heart for kids. You could craw in there and sit down. Shayla said something and it became to the : sentence of the day. While we were sitting in this heart shayla said: You all have a place in my heart! HAHAHHA. You understand? :D

After about 2 hours it sarted to get boring. So i texted salome again and she said she is with moritz at the food corner. So me and my Kiwi friends went again to the food corner to meet my friends from germany. Really complicated.  In the end i met Moritz and Salome again and so we went together to the akrakadabra Kebap, the best kebap in wellington. And it really was!
We finished our dinner and Shayla and Olivia said good bye to Daniele. We three went to the Trainstation and drove home again. At the Wellington train station we suddently met Elli and her brother.  The way back home we ate smoothie cews and answered the question of the day on each paper. The day was beautiful but also very exhausting. I am looking forward to do it again :))
