Hey ho old and new people on the other side of the earth
i welcome you
this post is about homegrown
a new zealand music event that takes place in wellington at the waterfront every year.
as the name already says it is a music event and only new zealand bands are playing therefore the name 'home grown' grown at home. you understand me.
it was gi ga gantic
no but actual it was really cool. i went with my friends
Laura, Jordan, Kiri, Radhyia, Lily, Crystal, Kyle, Ethan, Mitch and Ethan 2 haha
It was a big hassle to go to wellys that day.
the train driver was sick, so there were nuk trains and then we waited for ages for a bus that would take us to wellington. that bus obviously was soooo full omg
finally in wellington we met more people.
delaney, matt, harry, aaron, cerri, ryan and some boys from my school
The event started at 1:30pm and ended at 11pm with an aftershow party until 1am but no one wanted to go there. we were all to exhausted at the end of the day.
Back to the start. So we arrived and brought our bags to the place where we would stay and then went to the ticket offices to get a wristband which would allow us to get into the different tents with the different bands and stuff. it was really exciting.
I had a great great day with my friends and i saw so many different new zealand bands. mostly rock and electro to be honest but no matter what we had an awesome time.
